Apple may release MacBook Pro 2016 at WWDC in June

Cupertino, California-based Apple Inc is known not only for delivering world class technologically-advanced computer products but also for keeping Apple lovers guessed about new updates, upgrades, and unveiling of upcoming products for multiple usages. In the technology market, there are some reports that technology giant is working on MacBook Pro 2016 models and they will be announced by the company after two months this year. Although the technology company is tight lipped on offering any sort of information on MacBook Pro 2016 models, yet it has already announced that it will be holding the annual WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) June 13 -17 this year. As the news of new release is in pipeline, Apple was expected to make MacBook Pro 2016 go public on March 21. On the other hand, it only put a light upon the iPhone SE smartphone and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro tablet. Moreover, new band options for Apple Watch were also an integral part of the last event. As far as MacBook Pro 2016 is concerned, it is likely that this model will be available in two different versions. One model may come out with a 13-inch screen whereas the second one may be available with a 15-inch display. Interestingly, both the editions may be equipped with 6th generation Intel Skylake processors. The new chipset can be a surprise package for enhancing the battery performance.

It is also expected that thinner design, like MacBook Air devices, will be a part of the MacBook Pro 2016 models and the upcoming new notebook will attribute Retina Display along with OLED displays. If rumors are believed, it is likely the new release will have some speculated features:

  • Force Touch enabled Touchpad
  • USB Type-C and Siri for Mac
  • Touch ID fingeprint scanner
  • Support for external graphics

If the new release is weighed on economic prospects, the 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 is likely to hit the market at an initial price of $1500. The price of the 15-inchmodel is also anticipated to be available at a price tag of $2800. Interestingly, Apple is also supposed to be working on a 12-inch MacBook Air model which will probably see the light of the day during the upcoming WWDC 2016 event.
